Foster Care Treatment Counselor
Direct Hire, 2 locations, zip codes 21215, 20706, salary range 50,000-60,000 Hours:
Office Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Social Workers are only in the office 1 day a week.
The majority of their time is spent making home visits and in court hearings.
They must be flexible and able to work some evenings based on their family schedule (2-3 nights per week) Job Requirements:

They maintain ultimate responsibility for assessing the ongoing needs of foster youth and ensuring the development, implementation and documentation of the client treatment plan.
They are also responsible for facilitating case management and ensuring that service delivery is conducted in compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities:
Social Workers, along with our counselors, are key to the success of foster youth served.
Changing the life of a youth is an awesome responsibility, but also incredibly fulfilling and meaningful! Social workers oversee essential aspects of the foster youth's well-being, including:
Medical WellnessMental HealthClinical/Case ManagementLegal SupportsBirth Family Involvement/ReunificationEducational/VocationalCultural/Talent DevelopmentCrisis Intervention (must be willing to offer on-call support some nights/weekends)Requirements:
Licensed in the State of Maryland (LBSW, LGSW)Possess excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong leadership ability and strong work ethic requiredSAFE home study certified preferredMust have a reliable vehicle, a great deal of flexibility, and the willingness to travel locally.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
