High school graduate or equivalent required. Central Supply certification preferred. Knowledgeable of microbiology as it applies to sterilization techniques desirable.Two (2) years Central service and/or instrument tech experience preferred in a similar hospital setting. Cleans, processes, assembles and inspects all surgical instrumentation and leased equipment. Appropriately sterilizes instrumentation and returns to storage within defined time frames.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
