We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Server to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and training fellow team members in service standards.
Duties:
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any inquiries or concerns - Train new servers on menu items, service techniques, and restaurant procedures - Demonstrate proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe dining environment - Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience - Operate (Toast) POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately - Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry with a strong understanding of food safety protocols - Proficiency in using POS systems, OpenTable, or similar reservation software - Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately - Ability to upsell menu items and provide excellent guest services - Knowledge of culinary terms and dishes is a plus - Strong sales skills to increase revenue through suggestive selling - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Job Type:
