50 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Oversees a fixed post and patrols an assigned area to preserve peace and order, to protect persons and property, and to perform duties relating to the welfare and safety of the residences, team members, visitors, and property.
Reports any unauthorized or suspicious persons, unsafe conditions or other irregularities.
Essential Functions Protect staff, residences, and visitors and ensure that all the facility is secure; Patrol the building and its grounds; monitor all activity on the interior and exterior of the facility; and endeavor to prevent vandalism, theft, fire, and disturbances within the facility; Foot Patrol - Constantly checking the areas; Monitor common areas; Monitor staff, residences, and visitors for any suspicious activity; Monitor security cameras and alarm systems for signs of unusual activity; Inspect visitor identification cards to ensure that they belong to approved persons; and Conduct routine security checks of patient rooms.
Also, provides the following services:
Monitor radios for service dispatched by the police department; Respond to suspicious activities and take the necessary actions to bring the activity to a resolution:
in cooperation with local police whenever possible in lieu of any confrontation with any perpetrator; Respond to any calls for service on the property and report on Daily Activity Report (DAR); Provide high visibility throughout the property; Maintain a positive and respectful professional relationship with residence and community members; Communicate with the management team or designated representative to address immediate concerns; Complete DAR and incident reports to include photos of the subject's stopped vehicle license plates, including maintaining a log of all suspicious vehicles and persons, as well as provide all arrest reports to the Client on a daily basis; Communicate with the management team to address immediate concerns; Assist staff with unruly visitors and residences to provide plant safety and environmental protection; and Confront unauthorized persons for questioning, routes or detain them, or contact police for assistance, dependent upon the circumstances.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preference will be given to candidates with college coursework or advanced training in criminal justice, corrections, behavioral sciences, or related.
Experience:
Experience in a related field is preferred, but not required.
Preference will be given to those with prior experience in corrections, social services, behavioral health, or other related fields.
Availability:
Must be available to work any hours, any shift, any day of the week.
Background Check:
To be eligible for employment, you must be able to pass a state and federal background investigation.
Trainings:
Emergency Department (ED)/ Behavioral Health (BH) training; and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)/ Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.
Certifications:
