Full-time, Exempt SCOPE OF POSITION:
Director of Recruitment and Retention plans, develops, and directs recruitment processes and employment programs while ensuring all recruiting activities are consistent with the organization's policies and standards.
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives.
Develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Provides insight to Executive Team on recruitment strategies and emerging staffing trends.
Ensures that the recruiting function is capable and well aligned with the mission, vision, and goals of the organization.
Manages compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding hiring practices, compliance with EEO.
Assesses external labor market conditions, and develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods.
Ensures that the Recruiting Program can match cultural and environmental fit, in addition to technical skills and experience.
Manages meeting the monthly recruitment goals of each program in accordance with vacancies.
Develops, implements and manages full-cycle recruitment processes.
Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
Develops innovative hiring methodologies through identifying unique and non-traditional sources for finding candidates.
Develops, implements, and manages staffing metrics and trends.
Develops strategies to address retention and turnover.
Creates and maintains a recruitment calendar that would include job fairs, hiring days, orientations and trainings, etc.
in collaboration with the Program Directors.
Manage the process for virtual interviews.
Utilizes data and analytics to inform and optimize strategy, influence senior leadership, and understand market trends.
Guides and manages cross-organizational projects and initiatives related to diversity in talent acquisition.
Develops and executes research strategies for identifying strong potential diverse candidates.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of contract billing as it pertains to recruitment.
Develops a solid knowledge of the overall departmental/program functions.
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
Analyzes results to determine cost effectiveness and future financial need.
Manages operating budget for Recruitment programs; and routinely reports to the Executive Team and Controller with fiscal updates.
Manages and maintains good vendor relationships with all advertisement and recruitment agencies.
Collaborates with Corporate Development to provide job advertisements via social media platforms, the company intranet, and the company website.
Strategizes to attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites, and forming partnerships with local universities and organizations.
Manages a team ensuring they are being developed and challenged while delivering high quality candidates to Hiring Managers.
Tracks analytics and metrics to grow a data-driven and highly skilled recruiting team.
Coaches, manages, trains, and develops the recruitment team, actively supporting their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
Experience in full cycle recruiting and sourcing and employment branding in the Human Services field preferred.
7-10 years of experience and success recruiting in a company with fast growth.
5
years of recruitment experience in large company setting.
5
years of managerial experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team.
An undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field.
Human Resources certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage recruiting operations.
Demonstrated success in creating a recruiting program.
Demonstrated success in effectively addressing turnover and retention.
Innovative mindset and ability to analyze and solve recruiting challenges.
Highly organized and able to switch priorities daily.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and stakeholders.
Excellent command of technology with an emphasis on various computer programs and recruiting platforms.

The work is performed in an office setting.
